Meet sayrs morris
My name is Sayrs Morris, and I am a passionate advocate for empowering grassroots volunteers, helping Republicans win elections, and building a bold vision for conservative principles in California. After moving to the beautiful Imperial Valley in 2010, I quickly immersed myself in my community and began working to build our Republican majority. As a small business owner and school teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how government overreach and misguided policies affect families, workers, and communities. That’s why I’ve dedicated my career to championing parental and student rights, supporting local businesses and workers, and empowering everyday Californians to take a stand for their values.
For the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Chairwoman of the Imperial County Republican Central Committee. From the start, my focus has been on action: strengthening our volunteer base, growing our donor network, and recruiting candidates that can win close elections. Together, we transformed Imperial County into a model of Republican success, flipping the county red in 2024 for the first time in 36 years. Our historic grassroots campaign didn’t just stop there—we also helped elect Republican Assemblyman Jeff Gonzalez in Assembly District 36, proving that dedicated leadership and a bold vision can deliver wins in even the toughest districts.
What drives me most is empowering grassroots volunteers and leaders to make a difference. As County Chair, I’ve been in the trenches—listening to voters, addressing their concerns, and turning their voices into action. By using data-driven strategies and engaging unlikely Republican voters, we built a coalition that delivered unprecedented results. Republican votes in Imperial County surged, showing that when we focus on people, listen to their needs, and give them the tools to succeed, we win.
California’s future depends on a rising Republican movement fueled by bold ideas, strong leadership, and a commitment to grassroots action. Together, we can grow our party, win elections, and bring conservative principles back to the forefront in California.
